Fundraising is a big part of what we do. It is through these various fundraising activities that we are able to bring all the wonderful programs to the Woodland community.
Foodraisers: This provides us with the opportunity to partner with local businesses for lunch and dinner. A portion of the proceeds are shared with Woodland Elementary. Volunteers will help with scheduling, marketing, and assisting with restaurants that provide dine-in fundraising.
Spirit Wear: This committee is looking for volunteers to help design some fresh, fun new look Woodland Merchandise. Volunteers will also help with orders, sorting and distributing of items.
Movie Night: Students come with sleeping bags, blankets, pillows, and pajamas ready to watch a movie. Snacks and drinks are provided. Students even have a chance to win the movie at the end of the night. Volunteers needed to supervise the event.
Box Tops for Education: The committee members will sort, count, and submit box tops. They also reward the winning class with a gift basket for class participation efforts. Box tops bring in the funds for operation.
No Sale Fundraiser: This fundraiser is in lieu of sending students home with the task of selling door-to-door, collecting money, and delivering goods. By supporting this fundraiser, you will help us continue to bring programming and events to Woodland Elementary School.
Ohio Skate Nights: This event occurs several times throughout the year. We partner with Frank Elementary School. Come out and join the fun. Chair needed to coordinate schedules, distribute flyers, and collect funds.
Book Fair (sponsored by Scholastic): This event offers the community the opportunity to buy books and earn free books for the library and classrooms. Volunteers are needed to set-up, take down, and sell merchandise.
Urban Air: This is a fundraising event which will be a great opportunity for families to come enjoy a day at Urban Air with others from the school. A portion of the proceeds are given to the Woodland Parents’ Club.
